Carrie received her 200hr Yoga Teacher Training at the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica under Don and Amba Stapleton, and Levels I and II Reiki certifications under Cynthia Piltch, Ph.D., LCMT, RMT, in Boston, MA. Her background in bodywork, education, and creative arts therapy lends itself to a dynamic Vinyasa-based yoga practice, offering students outlets for physical and emotional exploration. Carrie encourages students to practice self care, body positive language, and a sense of humor throughout practice.

Restore & Reiki
Restore, reconnect, and rejuvenate for the holidays. Join Carrie for an evening of self care, to cultivate body awareness and release stress and anxiety. You'll be guided through a gentle, all-levels Vinyasa flow for grounding and balance, followed by feel-good restorative postures and calming breath work. The instructor will offer (optional) hands-on Reiki and Thai massage throughout practice, enhanced with grounding essential oils. Give yourself the gift of nourishment with the Roots community!
